PLANNER | LANDSCAPE DESIGNER
Ms. Fukuyama has experience in conceptual design through construction documentation for a variety of projects including LEED certified affordable housing that won an ASLA Merit Award. She has skills in AutoCAD, color rendering, graphic design applications, hand-rendered sketches and drawings, planting design, and irrigation design revisions. Her project experience ranges from university campuses and recreational/municipal facilities, to corporate centers, master-planned communities, LEED certified affordable housing development, and specific plan guidelines. She has extensive knowledge in plant materials and a proven ability to create strong concept designs. She is bilingual, fluent in English and Japanese and attended the Italy Field School Historic Preservation Program in the summer of 2001 and brings a special cultural significance to all her projects. Ms.Fukuyama also believes in the preservation of locally historic structures, and has chosen Glashaus in Barrio Logan for her art studio.
